Equicare Foundation

The Equicare Foundation is tucked away in the Royal Industrial Estate, which is on Sewree Wadala Road No 26. We are in building B-34, on the 4th floor, specifically in unit 5B. The industrial estate is a busy place with lots of small businesses and workshops, so there is always a lot of noise from machinery and trucks unloading nearby. It’s not the quietest spot in Mumbai, but it’s where we’ve set up shop. The address is in Wadala, and the zip code is 400031. To get to our floor, you have to go through the main gate and find the B wing, which can be a bit confusing for people who haven't visited before. The office itself is quite practical. We have some heavy-duty shelving and basic desks. It’s an industrial building, so the floors are concrete and the windows are large. We like the light we get in the afternoons. Sometimes the smell of the nearby sea comes in when the breeze is right. We spend our time here keeping track of our projects and making sure our records are straight. It’s a lot of manual work and organization. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor; it’s just a place to get the job done. The stairs are a good workout if the lift is being slow. We’re just a small team working out of Wadala, trying to stay on top of things every day. It's a bit dusty but we don't mind.
