Enkindle Foundation

Our place is in Chandivali, over at the Raheja Nest society on Farm Road. We are in flat A/304, which is part of the Lake Homes complex. It’s a pretty decent area to work in, though the traffic coming in from the main road can be a real headache some mornings. We have been in this office for a bit now. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes because of the layout. We have a few desks set up and some shelves for all the stuff we accumulate. Usually, it’s just the sound of typing and the fan going. We don’t have a big staff, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. One day you’re handling phone calls, and the next you’re sorting out the mail. The complex is quite large, so it took us a while to get to know the security guards and the neighbors. We usually take our breaks by the window where we can see a bit of the greenery outside. It’s a quiet spot compared to the rest of Mumbai. We aren’t trying to be anything we aren’t. We just want to get through our daily tasks and make sure everything is running okay. Sometimes we forget to water the plant in the corner, but we try. It’s just us doing our bit in this corner of the city. We hope to stay here for a good while longer.
