Emerald Sustainable Foundation

Our office is on the third floor of Doli Chambers, at Plot-506A. We are located on Bhaskarrao Kargutkar Marg, which is right by the old Strand Cinema. If you know that part of town, you know it has a lot of history and old buildings. Emerald Sustainable Foundation is tucked away in room 304. It’s an old-style building, so the ceilings are high and the hallways are a bit narrow. We chose this spot because it's right in the heart of things. Sustainability is in our name, but we try to keep our actual work very practical and down to earth. We don't have a polished marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, working at our desks, surrounded by stacks of paper and old maps. The area near Strand Cinema is always buzzing with people and cars, so there’s never a dull moment. We spend our days researching or talking to local groups about how to keep things running better for the long term. We aren't trying to change the whole world overnight. We just focus on small, practical steps that make sense for our neighborhood and the people living in it. Sometimes the elevator in Doli Chambers is a bit slow or doesn't work at all, so we end up taking the stairs. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people who care about how we use our resources. We like being here and we like what we do every day.
