Ekata Foundation Of Independent Gymnastics Clubs

Our office is located at 9 Bilqees Apts 2, right on Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri East. It’s a well-known area, especially since we are near the Saibaba Temple. You can usually hear the bells or see the crowds on certain days of the week. Being in Mumbai 400093 means things are always moving fast. Ekata Foundation Of Independent Gymnastics Clubs is based out of this small apartment. It’s not a gym itself, just the place where we handle all the boring administrative stuff for the various clubs. There are mats piled up in the corner sometimes, and the walls have a few old posters that are starting to peel at the edges. We’ve been at Bilqees Apartments for a good amount of time now. The commute here can be a nightmare with the Andheri traffic, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away on old laptops. It’s mostly just paperwork and coordination. There’s a tea stall just outside the building where we spend most of our breaks. We aren't some big sports federation with a glass building. We are just a group of people who care about gymnastics, sitting in a room near the temple. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little near the window when the monsoon is heavy. We just put a bucket down and keep going. It’s a simple setup for a practical purpose. We just get on with the day.
