Ek Pehel Foundation

Our place is over at 1307/B Raj Madhur, which is on Devidas Lane in Borivali West. If you know Mumbai, you know how crowded it gets around here. We’ve been operating Ek Pehel Foundation from this spot for a while now. It’s an apartment building, so it feels more like a home than a real office. Sometimes the elevator in Raj Madhur acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is quite a workout if you do it several times a day. The office itself has a lot of windows, so we get some good light in the mornings. We have piles of books and folders everywhere. It’s a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. Mostly. Borivali West is a loud neighborhood, but we like the energy. Living and working in Mumbai City 400103 means you are always in the middle of everything. We started Ek Pehel Foundation just to have a way to contribute something. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy speeches. It’s just us sitting around a table in room 1307/B. We drink way too much coffee and talk about what needs to happen next. The neighbors are nice, though they probably wonder why we have so many people coming in and out at odd hours. It is just a regular place doing regular work. We don't try to make it sound like more than it is or use big words.
