Dr. Goolam E Vahanvati Foundation

The Dr. Goolam E Vahanvati Foundation is situated on the 36th floor of the Imperial Tower in Tardeo. It is quite high up in the air, so the view of the city is actually quite nice, though we spend most of our time looking at our desks. Our office is in the South Block, unit 1-3602. Getting through the security at a big place like Imperial Tower takes a moment, but it’s a good spot to work from. We handle all the administrative tasks for the foundation from here. Even though the building is very modern, our office is quite simple and down-to-earth. We have computers, some storage for files, and a small table where we eat our lunch. We don’t go for the corporate look with suits and fancy meetings. We just show up and do what needs to be done for our projects. Tardeo is a very central location in Mumbai, which makes it easy to get around, even with the traffic on Bbnakashe Marg. We try to stay organized, but things get busy and we often have papers piled up everywhere. We aren’t trying to use big words to sound important. We just want to keep the foundation’s work going in a way that makes sense for everyone involved.
