My name is Dipti and I run things from my place here at C-55 in the Rameshwar Cooperative Housing Society. Parel is a busy area, but this building is where I spend most of my time working on whatever needs doing. It’s a residential spot, so it’s not like a big commercial shopfront you’d see on the main road. I’ve lived around Subhanpura for a long time, so people here know me. I started this small venture because I wanted to stay busy. Most days involve a lot of paperwork or coordinating with people on the phone. The neighbors are used to seeing delivery guys or visitors coming to my door. It gets a bit cramped sometimes when there’s a lot of stuff lying around the living room, but I make it work. Living and working in the same place has its ups and downs. Sometimes I’m still answering messages late at night while the TV is on in the background. Parel has changed so much with all the new towers, but our cooperative society still feels like the old Mumbai. It’s not a fancy corporate setup, just me at my desk with a fan overhead. I try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles of paper get a bit much. It’s a quiet life mostly, just getting the work done day by day without much fuss. I don't have a big staff, so if you call, you're likely talking directly to me.
