Our workshop is located at B-82 in the Balaji Industrial Estate. It is right on Akurli Road in Kandivali East, which is a fairly busy stretch of road. Hanuman Nagar has a lot of small businesses like ours tucked away in different corners. The estate is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the station, but it is manageable once you know the way. Inside B-82, things are kept very functional. We have benches for the electronics work and a few cupboards for keeping our parts and tools. It is not a place where we worry much about the decor or the paint. The focus is always on the soldering irons and the testing equipment we use. Some days it is quiet, just the sound of someone humming or a radio playing in the corner. Other days, it is a bit more chaotic when several things need to be fixed at once. We spend a lot of time looking at circuit boards and very tiny components. The light in the morning is actually pretty good through the side windows. We have been in Kandivali East for quite some time now. Most of the other shop owners in the estate know us by name. We usually grab tea from the stall near the main gate. It is a decent place to work. We do not have a big front desk. If you come by, you will just see us at a bench.
