Darshanjit Singh Charitable Foundation

Our office for the Darshanjit Singh Charitable Foundation is located at Nariman Point in the Maker Chambers V building. We are specifically on the eighth floor in suite ET-818. Even though Nariman Point is known for being a business hub, our space is pretty simple and doesn't have that corporate feel you might expect. It’s on Jamnalal Bajaj Marg, so there are always lots of cars and people in suits walking around outside. Inside, it is just us working on various projects. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the furniture is a bit dated, but it serves its purpose for what we do. We have been here for some time now. Most of the time, the office is quiet, except for the sound of the air conditioner and the phones. We have a lot of books and documents scattered around the room. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. Sometimes the tea lady comes by and we take a break. We handle a lot of different things from this room. People think because we are in Nariman Point that we are very big, but it is just a small team of us doing the daily work. We aren't really into the whole fancy business scene. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay busy. It’s a plain office where we get through the day's work one bit at a time.
