Dalmia Foundation

You can find us at the Prabhadevi Industrial Estate, right on Swatantrya Veer Savarkar Marg. We’re up on the third floor, in room 19. It’s a busy industrial area, so there’s always the sound of trucks and people moving things around. The Dalmia Foundation has been here for a while. We aren't trying to be some big, flashy organization. Most of the time, it’s just a couple of us sitting around a table trying to sort out the week’s schedule. The office is a bit cramped because we have a lot of files and equipment piled up in the corners. It’s a practical space. We don't have any of those modern glass walls or designer furniture. Just some sturdy desks and a lot of pens that always seem to go missing when you need them. Being in Prabhadevi is good because we are right in the middle of things in Mumbai. We see all kinds of people coming through the estate every day. Some are just looking for directions, and others are here specifically to see us. We try to be helpful whenever we can. It’s not always easy, and sometimes the building’s elevator is out of order, which makes the climb to the third floor a bit of a workout. But we don't mind. We just keep doing what we do, day by day. It’s honest work, and we’re glad to have a place here to do it from. We don't need anything fancy to get the job done.
