Daksh Nagrik Foundation

We are over in Goregaon East, specifically in Jai Bhavani Nagar. Our spot is G102, which is part of the Gokuldham area. If you know the Dhakad Compound or Kanyapada, then you know exactly where we are located. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of families and small shops around. We aren't in one of those tall glass buildings, just a regular ground floor setup. It makes it easier to just walk in and out without dealing with lifts. The Gokuldham area has a lot of character, even if the roads are a bit narrow in places and get flooded when it rains hard. Daksh Nagrik Foundation has been operating from here for a while now. We have some desks, a few cupboards full of files, and usually some chai going around in the afternoons. It gets a bit dusty because of all the movement and construction outside, but we don't mind it much. It feels like being part of the real community here. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing cricket right outside the door. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s real and honest. We usually start our day early before the sun gets too hot. There is a lot to do, so we stay pretty busy with our tasks. If you’re coming to see us, just look for the lane near the compound, it’s tucked away a little bit behind the main road.
