Saroj Poly Plast

We are located at No- 5/6 in the Kalpataru Industrial Estate. It’s an industrial area, so there is always a lot of activity and noise around us. We work with plastics here, mostly doing the stuff that goes into manufacturing. The units are big and the ceilings are high. It gets quite hot during the summer months because of the machinery running all day. We have stacks of materials piled up and things moving back and forth on pallets. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a nice office with carpets. It’s a dusty, hard-working environment. We wear heavy clothes and spend most of our time on the floor making sure the machines are running right. There are a few of us who have been here since the start. We know the machines inside and out. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving bags of plastic and watching the molds. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team. The business comes from other factories or suppliers who need what we make. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole night fixing them. That’s just how it is in an industrial estate. We take our breaks together and talk about the day. It’s a plain, honest way to earn a living. We just keep our heads down and get the production done as scheduled for whoever needs it.
