Dagson Art

You can find us in Malad West, specifically on Bajirao Road inside the Manisha Apartment building. We are in the Jai Ambe section. Dagson Art is a small operation, and we like it that way. Our space is usually a bit cluttered with whatever projects we are currently working on. There is always a lot of material lying around, from paper to paints and frames. It’s not a gallery where everything is perfectly clean; it’s a real workshop. We spend most of our time here just focusing on the details of our work. The noise from the street below is constant, but you get used to it after a while. It’s part of the charm of being in this part of Mumbai. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a high-tech setup. We mostly rely on our hands and the tools we’ve had for a long time. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't have a boss in a suit giving orders. We are just a few people who enjoy what we do every day. We often have tea together in the late afternoon and talk about what we need to finish by the weekend. It’s a simple life, and we don't feel the need to make it sound more important than it is. We just do our work and go home, and that’s more than enough for us in the long run.
