Cynroza Art Gallery

Cynroza Art Gallery is located at 72, Bhulabhai Desai Road. If you know Mumbai, you know this is a pretty famous stretch of road near the coast. It is not a massive skyscraper, just a regular building along the way. We have our space here where we keep all the art. It isn’t one of those places where you feel like you can’t touch anything. It is much more relaxed than that. The street outside is usually very busy with cars and people headed towards the shops. Inside, it is a bit quieter. We spend our days arranging the pieces and talking to anyone who drops in. We don't use any fancy sales talk. If someone likes a painting, they like it. The lighting is just standard stuff we put up ourselves. Sometimes the windows need a good cleaning because of all the dust from the road, but that is just life in the city. We have been at 72 Bhulabhai Desai Road for a while, so people in the area recognize the spot. We don't have a big staff. It is just a few of us making sure the gallery stays open and things are where they should be. It is a straightforward business. No big mission statements or corporate goals. We just like having the art here and being part of the neighborhood. It is a decent place to work, and we keep things pretty casual for everyone who stops by.
