Cyber Saathi Foundation

Our office is located in the Fort area, which is one of those parts of Mumbai that never seems to slow down. We are in the New Bake House building, at number 12 on Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce Lane. You can find us on the first floor in Room 111. Cyber Saathi Foundation is the name we go by. The building has that classic old-school feel with steep stairs and thick walls. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. We spend most of our time on laptops or dealing with stacks of paper. It’s not a high-tech lab or anything, just a few of us in a room trying to help people with internet stuff. Fort is a great place to be because everything is so close, but the noise from the street can be quite a lot during the day. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a few old files that we haven't archived yet. It’s a working office, not a showroom. We don’t use corporate jargon or have big meetings. We just talk to each other and get the work finished. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty because of the old windows, but we don't mind. It’s a solid place to work and it feels like we are part of the history of the city. We just keep it simple.
