Crompton Csr Foundation

Working out of Business Square in Andheri East is always an experience. We are in the A-Wing, Room 302. The whole area of Chakala is constantly moving. You can hear the traffic from Kurla Road all day long. It’s a busy spot, and getting here in the morning can be a bit of a struggle with the crowds at the station. The building itself is a standard office block. We have security at the front who usually recognize us by now. Inside 302, it’s all about the Crompton Csr Foundation work. We have desks lined up and some whiteboards where we scribble notes. It’s not a huge office, but it’s enough for the team we have here. The air conditioning is always on because the Mumbai heat is no joke, especially in a glass-fronted building. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle and some biscuits. The windows look out over other office buildings and a bit of the road. It’s a very corporate-looking area, but inside our office, it feels a bit more lived-in and messy. We have stacks of reports and folders that seem to grow every week. Sometimes we have meetings in the small space we have, pulling in extra chairs from other desks. It’s a functional place that serves its purpose. We spend a lot of time on our computers and talking to people on the phone. It’s just another day in Andheri for us.
