Creative Art Centre

You can find the Creative Art Centre on the ground floor of the Atmaram Building, which is at 340 J.S. Road in Thakurdwar. Being in an old building like this gives the place a certain feel. We’ve been here for quite some time, and the ground floor spot makes it easy for people to just pop in from the street. The area of Thakurdwar is always humming with life, and we are right in the middle of it. Our space is filled with all sorts of art supplies, canvases, and things we are working on. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. We spend our days helping people find what they need for their own projects or working on our own pieces. There is always a bit of a smell of oil paint or turpentine in the air. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just us running the shop and the studio area. People from the neighborhood come in to chat or to see what’s new on the shelves. It’s a bit dusty because of the old building, but it has character. We like being part of the J.S. Road community. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks through the door or what we decide to create that afternoon. It’s a practical, creative life and we are happy staying right here at number 340.
