Creative Art Centre

You can find Creative Art Centre at 340 Thakurdwar on Atmaram Road. We are right opposite the Zaoba Ram Mandir. It’s a very old part of the city, and the temple is a big part of the street’s daily life. Being here means we get a lot of people passing through our doors. We do a lot of things related to art. Some days it’s framing old family pictures, and other days it’s sorting out supplies like paints and brushes for students. The shop is a bit cramped because there are canvases and frames leaning against the walls everywhere. It’s a bit disorganized, but in a way that feels right for a creative place. We spend a lot of time measuring wood for frames or helping someone pick out a color that doesn't clash with their artwork. It’s quiet work for the most part, except for the noise from the street traffic outside. Atmaram Road always has something going on. We like the atmosphere here near the mandir. It has a specific feel to it that you don't get in the newer parts of town. We’ve seen many artists come and go over the years. Some are just starting out and some have been painting for decades. We treat everyone the same and just try to help them get what they need for their next project. It’s a simple life, surrounded by colors and wood and local history.
