Confluence

Confluence is over here at New Marine Lines, right by Karamchand Mansion. We’ve been set up near Bombay Hospital for a good while now. If you know the area, you know how the traffic gets on Bvk Iyengar Road Cross during the afternoon. Most days it is just us in the office handling the usual paperwork and trying to keep things moving. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we get the work done. People often get lost looking for the mansion, but once you see the hospital, you’re basically there. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Some shops have gone and new ones have opened up, but we’re still here doing what we do. It’s a busy spot, especially with all the people coming and going from the hospital nearby. We usually just grab tea from the stall around the corner and settle in for the day. There isn't much to say about us other than we work hard and try to stay organized. It gets a bit noisy with the street sounds coming in through the windows, but you get used to it after a week or so. We are just local folks trying to run a decent business without too much fuss. If the phone is ringing, someone is usually answering it, unless we are all out on a break. That is pretty much the long and short of it for us.
