We have been operating the Confederation Of Empowerment Initiatives from here for a long time. The 400068 area is where we spend most of our working hours. It is a standard residential society setup, so it feels very grounded and local to us. There is nothing corporate about how we set things up in the rooms. We have our desks, some old filing cabinets, and plenty of notebooks scattered around the place. The people in the building know us by name, and we know them. It is a nice community feel overall. Sometimes the rains make the walk from the station a bit of a challenge, but we are used to it by now. We just handle our daily responsibilities without making a big fuss about things. It is a practical location for us because it is easy for local folks to get to. We are not trying to impress anyone with a lobby or a fancy receptionist. Usually, whoever happens to be closest to the door just answers it. That is how we have always done things. Living and working in Mumbai City keeps you on your toes, and Dahisar is a good home base for our group.
