Combat Centre

We’ve been running Combat Centre out of this spot in Basant Park for a while now. It’s located in the Chembur GIDC Estate, right across the road from the Chembur Police Station. If you know the area, you know it can get a bit hectic with all the traffic and people moving around, but we like it here. The space itself at 4/C-6 is pretty straightforward. We aren't big on those fancy decorations or high-end lighting you see in big chains. It’s mostly just a practical place where we get to work every day. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise and the floors need a good scrub after a busy afternoon, but that’s just how it goes. Most of our regulars are local folks from around Chembur who know the shortcuts to avoid the main road mess. Being near the police station helps people find us easily when they’re looking for the address for the first time. We spend a lot of our time just keeping the equipment in order and making sure everything is ready for whoever walks through the door next. It’s a bit of a climb or a walk depending on where you park, and the GIDC can be confusing if you don’t watch the signs. We’ve grown used to the sounds of the neighborhood and the general pace of things here. It’s just our daily routine, keeping the doors open and staying busy with whatever needs doing at the moment.
