City Gallery

I spend most of my days here at City Gallery, which is up on the first floor of the building in Goregaon West. Our shop is number 139. It's a decent spot right there on CG Road near Gulbai Tekra. Usually, I'm just here moving things around or checking what needs doing. The space isn't overly big but we make it work. Most people find us okay once they get inside the center and head upstairs. It gets a bit noisy outside sometimes with all the traffic on the main road, but inside it’s mostly just us doing our thing. I’ve been working here for a while now and you get used to the rhythm of the place. We don't have any big speeches to make about what we do. We just open up the shutters, set things up, and wait for whoever stops by. Some days the hallway is pretty quiet, and other times it’s a bit of a rush. We handle what comes our way. The address is easy to find if you know the area well. It’s just a plain shop where we put in the hours. Sometimes I bring my lunch and eat while looking out at the street. It’s not fancy, just a regular workplace for us. We keep the shelves filled and try to stay on top of the cleaning when there’s a gap in the day. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, but we just wipe it down and keep going. It’s a job like any other.
