Chocoworld Chocolates

You can find Chocoworld Chocolates at 104 in Andheri West. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who really spend way too much time around melting pots and cooling trays. The smell of cocoa is pretty much stuck in our clothes at this point. Every morning starts with checking the temperature of the room because chocolate is picky about that. We aren't a big factory. We do things in smaller batches on the tables in the back. Sometimes a batch doesn't set right and we have to figure out why, which is usually just a bit of heat or humidity being off. It gets messy. There is usually chocolate powder on the floor and sticky spots on the counters that we are always wiping down. We handle the packaging ourselves too, which takes up a lot of space in our small shop. It isn’t some high-end boutique with marble floors. It’s a working kitchen where we pack boxes for people who stop by or order for their kids' parties. We don’t spend time on fancy slogans. We just look at the orders and try to get the wrapping straight. Some days the delivery van is late or a fridge makes a weird noise, but we just keep going. It is a simple business run by people who are usually covered in some form of sugar by five o’clock. It is just life at Chocoworld.
