The Ravalgaon Sugar Farm Ltd.

You can find our main office at 10-World Trade Centre in Cuffe Parade. It is a very busy part of the city, right near the water and the docks. We have been in the sugar business for decades under the name The Ravalgaon Sugar Farm Ltd. Most people know our name from the sweets and hard candies we make. While the factory itself is elsewhere, this is where we handle all the business side of things. It’s a typical office setup with lots of files and people constantly on the phone. We spend a lot of time talking to distributors and suppliers across the country. The World Trade Centre is a big landmark, so it's easy for people to find us, though the security at the gate can be a bit slow some days. We aren't a new startup with bean bags and fancy coffee machines. We have heavy wooden desks and old-fashioned ways of doing things that have worked for a long time. It suits us fine. We've seen the sugar market go up and down over the years, but we just keep at it. Our staff has been with us a long time, some for their whole careers. We focus on getting the orders out and making sure the sugar reaches where it needs to go. It’s a lot of coordination. Even though we are in a fancy building like the WTC, we keep things pretty simple inside our doors. We just do our work and try to stay organized.
