Chirag Art

We have been here at Chirag Art in Santacruz East for a while now. It's just a small spot really, right by 1 Santacruz East, if you know where Niron Hospital is. The street gets pretty crowded during the day with all the people heading to the hospital and cars trying to find a place to park. Most days find us inside, working on whatever projects come through the door. It might be some framing or painting or just general art stuff that needs doing. This shop isn’t fancy at all. Pieces of work are leaning against the walls and there is always a bit of dust because of the road outside. Even though it gets noisy with the traffic, we’ve gotten used to it. I usually spend my mornings getting everything sorted, then the afternoons are just for finishing up the pieces. People stop by sometimes just to ask for directions because they get lost looking for the hospital. We don’t mind helping. It is a busy neighborhood where things are always moving. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of materials lying around, but the space works for us. I try to keep things organized, but you know how it goes when you’re busy. The light in the front is actually quite nice in the mornings. Anyway, we just stay here and get the art pieces ready for whenever they need to be picked up.
