Chhotalal Sons

Our shop is tucked away in Shop No 232 on Sancha Lane. If you know the Kalbadevi area, you know how tight and busy the lanes can be. We are pretty close to Javeri Bazar and Mira Nagar, so there is always a crowd. Chhotalal Sons has been around for a while, and we’ve stayed in this same spot in the G I D C Colony. It is a traditional kind of setup near the M j area. We have our regulars who have been coming to us for years. The area is famous for all kinds of trade, and we are just one part of that big puzzle. It gets very hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy with the work at hand. We don’t do much advertising or anything like that. People usually find us by word of mouth or by just walking through Sancha Lane. The building is old and has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit narrow. We handle things the old-fashioned way, with a lot of handwritten notes and personal conversations. It isn't a fast-paced corporate office. It’s a family business where we know our neighbors and the other shopkeepers. Sometimes the deliveries get stuck in the narrow streets, but that is just life in Kalbadevi. We are just here doing what we do, day in and day out, in our little corner near Javeri Bazar. Most days, we stay until the evening.
