Chhaya Hemal Bhagat

We've been here at Silver Palm in Vile Parle West for a while now. It's on the fourth floor, room 404. Most people know the area near Prarthana Samaj. It's just a regular spot where we get our work done. Chhaya Hemal Bhagat is the name on the door. I started this because I wanted something of my own in the neighborhood. It’s not fancy or anything. Just a small space with some desks and chairs. We deal with people from all over Girgaon and nearby. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, so you have to wait a minute. We try to keep things organized but it gets busy. People stop by to ask questions or drop off papers. I usually stay late most evenings making sure everything is sorted for the next morning. It’s a quiet building for the most part, except when the school nearby lets out. I like being in Vile Parle. It feels like home. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us handling the daily tasks. We don't do much advertising; mostly it's just folks telling their neighbors about us. If you’re coming from the main road, just look for the Silver Palm sign. We’re right there. Nothing much else to say, we just keep our heads down and do what needs doing every day. It's a living, and it keeps us connected to the local community here in Mumbai.
