Kiran Travels

Kiran Travels is located in Flat No 607 of the Vasant Vihar Complex. We are right behind the old Basant Cinema on Dr C Gidwani Road in Chembur. It’s an older building, and being on the sixth floor gives us a bit of a view of the surrounding neighborhood. We started this travel business from a residential flat because it felt more practical for us. The walls are lined with maps and calendars, and the phones never seem to stop ringing, especially during the wedding season or summer holidays. People who come to visit usually know Basant Cinema as the main landmark, otherwise, it can be a bit tricky to find the right gate for Vasant Vihar. We don’t have a big storefront with neon lights. It’s just a regular door with a small nameplate. Inside, it’s mostly just us sitting at our desks, coordinating with drivers and checking on bus schedules. The kitchen in the flat is where we make endless cups of tea to get through the long afternoons. Chembur is a great area because it’s so well-connected, which helps with the travel business. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our spot in the complex has stayed pretty much the same. It’s a busy life, but we enjoy the rhythm of it and the people we meet. We just want to keep things running smoothly for our passengers.
