Amazona Art

Amazona Art is tucked away in the Garden Apartment, which is No. 3. We are right opposite Diamond Garden in Chembur. It’s actually funny because the official address mentions Diamond Garden twice, but that just makes it easier to find us. Being across from the garden is nice because there’s a bit of green to look at when things get stressful. Inside, we have our art stuff spread out everywhere. It’s not a fancy gallery with white walls and silence. It’s more of a workspace where things are being created or stored. Chembur is a lively place to be, and this specific spot near the garden feels like a little corner of its own. We have residents living in the same building, so we try to keep the noise down. The apartment setup is cozy, maybe even a little cramped when we have a lot of new pieces coming in. We spend our days surrounded by colors and frames. Sometimes we lose track of time because the light coming through the windows changes throughout the afternoon. We aren't a big chain or anything. It's just a local art spot. People walk by on their way to the garden and sometimes peak in. We just do our own thing here. The front door sticks a little in the heat, but we are used to it by now. It’s just us at Garden Apartment.
