Chaher Art

Chaher Art is situated on Np Thakkar Road in Vile Parle East. If you know Mumbai, you know Vile Parle is a bustling area, especially on the east side near the station. Our place on Np Thakkar Road is right in the middle of all that activity. Since we are an art business, our space is usually a bit of a jumble. We have all sorts of materials and finished pieces scattered around. It’s not the kind of place that is kept perfectly tidy, but we know where everything is. The noise from the street is constant, with people walking to the station and the local shops doing their business. We don't have any big slogans or promotional posters up. We just like being in this part of town because it feels alive. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but inside we are always working on something. It can get quite humid in Mumbai, so the fans are always spinning to keep us cool while we work. We aren't a big corporate entity. It’s just a few of us here at Np Thakkar Road trying to make things and keep the business going. It is a simple setup, but it suits us and what we do at Chaher Art. We’ve been here for quite some time now and the daily commute through the busy streets has just become a part of our life.
