Carporate Gallery

Carporate Gallery is over in Andheri East at T Dasarahalli 2. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of offices and people moving quickly all day. Our shop is mostly filled with boxes and shelves that we spend a lot of time organizing. Dust is a real problem in Andheri East because of all the construction and traffic nearby, so we are always using a cloth to wipe down the displays and the glass. We moved into T Dasarahalli 2 because it was close to the main road but not right on it. We don't have any fancy marketing slogans or anything like that. We just open up at ten and stay until the evening. Most of the people who come in are in a hurry. They need something specific for their office or a gift, and they want to get in and out. We do a lot of heavy lifting, moving crates from the delivery trucks into the back room when they arrive. The space is a bit cramped, especially when we get a big shipment in on Mondays. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything polished. It’s just a workspace that happens to have a door for customers to walk through. We drink a lot of tea from the stall next door while we wait for the afternoon rush to start. It’s a simple life, just trying to keep the inventory straight and the customers satisfied. We spend the last hour of the day just double-checking the stock levels for the next morning.
