Carebud Foundation

Our office is in the Silver Tower, room A 301, over in Thakur Complex. It is right in Kandivali East, Mumbai. We are actually directly across from the M and M place, so we see the big trucks going in and out all day long. The office itself is pretty simple. We have a couple of desks and a small area where people can sit if they visit. Mostly, we just use the extra space to store boxes of stuff we are working with. Kandivali is a very busy area, and there is always a lot of noise and energy. We are not into the whole corporate lifestyle at all. We wear regular clothes and we talk like normal people do. There is no receptionist here. If the bell rings, one of us just goes and opens the door. We spend a lot of our time on our phones or writing things down in notebooks. The balcony has a decent view of the main road, but it gets covered in dust really fast. We try to clean it once a week if we remember. It is a very honest little space. We do not make any big promises to anyone, we just show up every day and do what we need to do. It is not fancy, but it works for us. We have a small kettle for making tea and that’s about all the luxury we have. It’s just a practical spot for us to get things done.
