We are right on Hanuman Road in Vile Parle East. If you are looking for the ICICI Bank, we are just next to it, so it is pretty easy to find us if you are in the Mumbai area. The shop is full of various electronics and appliances. Since we are a BPL gallery, there are televisions and things set up everywhere. Sometimes all the screens are on at once and it gets quite bright in here. The traffic in Vile Parle is always something else, so we hear the honking and the buses going by all day long. We have a couple of guys who help with moving the heavy boxes around. It is a lot of lifting and shifting things to make room for new stock. We try to keep the glass clean, but with all the dust from the road, it is a constant job. Customers come in wanting to see the latest models or just asking how to fix something they bought years ago. We spend a lot of time explaining how the remotes work or why a certain wire is needed. It gets pretty humid in Mumbai, so we usually have the fans going full blast. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we like being in the middle of everything. We have been here for a while and the people around here know us well. It’s a busy life, but we get by. We just focus on the machines and the people.
