Bollywood Superstar Orchestra

We are Bollywood Superstar Orchestra, located in Karma Sanket within the Nehru Nagar area of Kurla East. Since we are in the MIDC section, it’s a lot of industrial units and small businesses around us. It’s not the quietest place to have an orchestra, but it works for us. Our space is usually full of instrument cases, cables, and music stands. There’s almost always some noise going on, whether it’s someone tuning a violin or testing out a keyboard. The heat in Kurla can be pretty intense, especially in these industrial buildings, so we usually have the fans whirring away while we practice. It’s a very practical setup. We aren't sitting in a fancy concert hall; we’re in a real working space where we put in the hours. Sometimes we stay late into the evening, and you can hear the music drifting out into the street. The neighbors are used to us by now. We don't have any big corporate mission to talk about. We just like playing music and getting our rehearsals done so we are ready for the next show. It’s a lot of hard work and lugging heavy gear around, but we’ve been doing it for a long time. Karma Sanket is our home base, and even though it’s a bit gritty and industrial, it’s where all the music starts for us.
