If you’re heading down Link Road in Goregaon West, you’ll find Body Artist. We’re right opposite Bangur Nagar and tucked behind Kasba Restaurant. It’s a lively part of Mumbai. The shop isn't tucked away in a fancy mall; it’s more of a street-level feel. Inside, we have our setup with the chairs and all the equipment we need. It’s not a sterile hospital vibe, but we keep it clean because that’s the most important thing. We have art on the walls and maybe some music playing that isn't everyone's taste. The street outside is always noisy with traffic and people walking by. Sometimes people just stick their heads in to see what’s going on. We don’t mind. We aren't the type of people to use big words or pretend we are something we aren't. We just like what we do. The area behind Kasba is a bit quieter than the main road, which is nice when you need to focus. We’ve been in this part of Mumbai for a good bit now. You get all sorts of people walking through the door, from students to older folks. We just treat everyone the same and do our work. It’s a simple shop with a lot of character. We don't have a big marketing budget, we just rely on people seeing us here or hearing about us from a friend. It’s just how things work for us on Link Road.
