Beyond Justice Foundation

Our foundation is located in the Apl Mill Building No. 4/B. We are specifically in Flat No. 1504, which is part of the Dheeraj Dreams complex in Bhandup. It is quite high up on the 15th floor, so we get a decent view of the surrounding Mumbai suburbs. Bhandup has a history of old mills, and this building is part of how the area has changed over time. It is a large residential and commercial mix. Getting to the office involves navigating the security at the gate and taking the elevator up. It’s a busy place with lots of families and small businesses all around. Our workspace is just a standard flat that we’ve converted for our needs. It isn't a fancy law office or anything like that, despite the name. We just sit here and work on things that we think matter. The atmosphere is pretty casual. Most of us wear jeans to work. We don't have a corporate culture or anything like that. We just focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes the building can get a bit crowded, but our floor is usually okay. We spend most of our hours here reading and discussing different cases or projects. It is a straightforward setup for a group like ours. We like being in Bhandup because it’s a bit more affordable and down-to-earth than some of the other parts of Mumbai. We stay focused on the work.
