Bagel Shop

We opened the Bagel Shop here in Kammanahalli some years back because we just wanted a decent place to get a coffee and something to eat without it being a big deal. The shop is tucked away in the 3rd Block of H R B R Layout. It isn't very fancy. We have some wooden chairs and a counter that sometimes gets a bit cluttered with bags of flour. Every morning, things get pretty busy around here when the ovens start warming up. We make the dough ourselves. It takes time, and sometimes the bagels don't look exactly the same size, but they taste right. We keep the menu simple. There’s cream cheese, some coffee, and maybe a few other things if we have the ingredients in. People come in, grab their stuff, and head to work. Some folks sit for a bit if there is space. It gets loud when the grinder is going. We’ve had the same neighbors for a while now, and they know how it goes. If we run out of something, we just put a sign up. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just keeping the shop running and making sure the bagels are fresh for whoever walks in the door today. It's a lot of early mornings and cleaning up crumbs at the end of the day, but it works for us. We like the early light in the windows and the smell of the toast.
