Babu Qureshi Foundation

We have been running the Babu Qureshi Foundation from our ground floor spot at Godfrey Villa for a while now. It's right near Pali Market in Bandra West, so it gets pretty busy around here with the market crowds and traffic. Most days we are just sitting in the office dealing with whatever paperwork comes through or talking to people who drop by. It’s not a huge place, just a simple G-3 unit on Plot 216, but it works for what we do. We mostly just focus on getting things done for the local community without much fuss. Usually, there is someone around if you knock, though sometimes we are out running errands or meeting folks. Bandra has changed a lot lately, but our little corner on Pali Market Road stays mostly the same. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big sign, just the basics to keep the foundation moving. It’s a lot of work sometimes, especially keeping track of everything, but we manage. If you know the area, you know how hard parking can be, so we usually just walk or take a rickshaw. We just try to help where it's needed and stay out of the way. It’s a neighborhood thing, really. Not much more to say than that. We are just local people trying to handle our daily tasks and see what needs doing next.
