Babji Arts is located at 83 Pali Naka in Malad West. It is a small shop, and you can usually smell the paint or the glue we are working with from the street. We do a bit of everything here, from hand-painted signs to small design jobs that people in the neighborhood need for their shops. The space is pretty cramped because we have a lot of tools, brushes, and wooden frames piled up. There is always someone stopping by to ask if we can make a name board or fix a broken frame. We do not have a big fancy showroom with lights. It is more of a workshop where we actually get our hands dirty every day. Sometimes the floor is covered in scraps of vinyl or wood shavings by the end of the day. We have been in Malad for a while now, and we like the vibe of the Pali Naka area despite the noise. It is always moving, and there is always something happening right outside our door. We do not really do big advertising campaigns or anything. Most of our work comes from people walking past or someone telling their friend that we did a decent job for them. It is a simple business. We just take an order, try to get it done right by the deadline, and move on to the next one. Some days are busier than others, especially when a local festival is coming up. We just keep the shutters open and stay busy.
