Atmiya Arts

We have been here at 187 Suban Bhuvan for quite a while now. The Masjid area is always loud and there is never a quiet moment outside the door. If you know this part of the city, you know how the traffic gets during the middle of the day. Our space here at Atmiya Arts is just a regular spot where we keep our things and get through the daily list of tasks. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise but we have gotten used to it. Most of the people who come by are just regulars from the neighborhood or folks who got lost looking for another shop nearby. We don't have fancy lights or a big sign that glows at night. It is just a wooden door and some shelves filled with whatever we are working on that week. The walk up here can be a bit tiring when it is hot outside. We usually have the radio playing in the background but it is hard to hear over the trucks honking downstairs. Every morning starts with cleaning the dust off the tables because it comes in from the street windows. It is not a huge place but it fits what we do. We mostly just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. There is a tea stall right around the corner that we go to twice a day. That is pretty much how things go for us here.
