Athurta Foundation

Athurta Foundation is located at 10 Zeenat Cottage, which is in the Lower Kharodi area of Malad. We are right on Marve Road, and if you are looking for us, we are quite close to St. John Model School. That school is a big landmark, which helps because the lanes around here can get a bit confusing for someone who isn't from around Malad. Zeenat Cottage is one of those typical Mumbai buildings that has been around for a while. Our space inside is dedicated to the foundation’s work, but it definitely has that lived-in feel. We have a few desks and some old wooden chairs that have seen a lot of use. The traffic on Marve Road can be pretty loud, especially with the buses and rickshaws constantly honking, so we usually keep the windows shut to get some peace. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through spreadsheets. There is a small shop downstairs where we get our stationery and the occasional snack. It is a very local setup, and we know many of our neighbors by name. We do not have any big corporate signs; usually, someone just points the way if a visitor looks lost. We keep our operations straightforward and do not worry too much about having the latest furniture. It is about getting the work done in a place that feels real.
