Ashtavinayak Auto Garage

Ashtavinayak Auto Garage is Shop Number 6 in the Dayanand Bhandari building, located in Borivali West. We are on Road Number 1, right in the Jai Prakash Nagar area, and you can see us directly opposite Laxman Tower. It’s a good spot because there’s enough room on the side of the road for us to work on a couple of cars at once. The shop is filled with all the usual things you’d expect—wrenches, jacks, old tires, and cans of coolant. We started this place because we liked working on engines, and it’s been our daily routine for a long time now. Most of the day is spent with our hands dirty, trying to figure out why a car won't start or fixing a dent. It gets quite loud with the sound of the air compressor and the traffic from the main road. The neighbors in Jai Prakash Nagar are used to us by now. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing plan; we just open the shutter in the morning and see who shows up with a problem. Sometimes it’s a quick fix, and other times we have to keep the car for a few days if we’re waiting for a part to arrive from the supplier. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who know our way around a toolkit. We’ve been at this shop in Borivali for years, and it’s just our way of making a living.
