Ashok Bedgiri

Our place is over in Mulund East, specifically in the Gandhiraj Society at C/27. If you know where Vpm School is on Mithagar Road, we are just a short walk from there. It is a quiet neighborhood for the most part, except when the school lets out and the kids are everywhere. Ashok started this work a while back, and we have stayed in the same spot ever since. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of papers piled up. We usually have the tea kettle going in the afternoon. Most of the people who come by are neighbors or folks who have known us for years. We don't do much advertising because word of mouth seems to keep us busy enough. The building is an older one, but it's sturdy and keeps the sun out during the hot months. Sometimes the fan makes a clicking sound, but we don't mind it. It feels like home because it practically is. You might have to look twice for the door if you aren't familiar with the society layout. We prefer keeping things low-key and just getting the work done. It is better to be known for doing a decent job than for having a big shiny office. We see the same faces every day on Mithagar Road, which is nice. It makes you feel like you belong to the community here in Mulund.
