Arunodaya Stores

Arunodaya Stores is a local shop in Mumbai at Raja Badhe Chowk in Matunga West. We are situated in the Dinath Building, specifically in Shop No 5/6 B on L J Road. If you know the area, we are right across from the Idbi Bank. It’s a very crowded part of the city and there are always people walking past the front door. We sell all the usual things you’d expect to find in a neighborhood store. Our shelves are packed with stuff from floor to ceiling. It can be a bit of a squeeze when we get a few people inside at the same time. We’ve been running this place for a good many years now. Most of our regulars are people who live in the buildings nearby. They come in for bread or soap or whatever they ran out of at home. We spend a lot of time counting stock and dealing with the various delivery trucks that pull up outside. It gets noisy with the buses and cars on L J Road but we are used to it by now. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just open up in the morning and stay until late evening. It is just a regular life of a shopkeeper in Mumbai. We try to keep things in order but it is hard when you have so many small items to track.
