Our place is at A/3 in Bardan Gali, over in Andheri East. We are quite close to the Jungleshwar Mandir, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. The street can get pretty narrow and packed with people and carts, especially during the middle of the day. Our shop is a bit tucked away, but once you find Bardan Gali, it’s not too hard. We deal with various things related to art, but it’s more of a workshop feel than a gallery. There are usually supplies scattered around and something being worked on in the corner. It’s not a very big space, so we have to be smart about how we use the walls for storage. We aren't the type of place that has a big staff in uniforms. It’s just a few of us who enjoy the work. We get a mix of people coming through—some are artists themselves and others just need something specific for a project. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we have some good lamps for when we need to see the details. It’s a quiet spot once you get inside and away from the noise of the Gali. We don't spend money on fancy ads. We just keep the door open and stay busy with whatever order came in that morning. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day. Sometimes we lose track of time when we're focusing on a piece.
