Art Bazar

Our shop is over in Motilal Nagar No 1 in Goregaon West. It’s on Hiramani Dadabhai Cross Road-2, which can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't from around here. We’ve got a lot of stuff packed into this space at 196/1563. Mostly it is things for people who like to draw or paint or just need basic supplies for their school work. The shelves are pretty high and we use a small ladder to reach the top rows. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we usually know exactly where everything is hidden. Most days are spent unpacking boxes or helping someone find a specific type of brush or paper they need. We don't really do big advertising or anything like that. People mostly hear about us from their neighbors or friends in the area. Goregaon has changed a lot, but this little corner feels pretty much the same as it did years ago. Sometimes we just sit outside when it’s quiet and watch the traffic go by. The shop is a bit small, so it gets crowded quickly if more than three people come in at once. We just do our work and keep the place running. It’s a quiet life, mostly dealing with pencils, colors, and the local folks who stop by to chat or buy a few things. We’re just happy to be part of the neighborhood and keep the shop open every day.
