You can find us at Flat No 401 in the Yogeshwar Apartment building. It’s right across from the Curry Road Station in Lower Parel, which makes it easy to get to even if the traffic is bad. We’ve turned this flat into a place where we can actually sit down and create things. There are brushes and paints all over the place, and honestly, the floor has a few stains that won't come out. It’s a working space, so we don’t worry too much about keeping it looking like a showroom. We spend a lot of time just looking at the light coming through the windows and trying to figure out our next piece. It gets a bit hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going. People who come over usually notice the smell of linseed oil or turpentine right away. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. If the bell rings, one of us just gets up and opens the door. Most days it’s just us working quietly or maybe listening to the trains go by outside. It's a simple life of making art in a regular apartment. We’ve been here for a bit and the neighbors are used to us carrying canvases up the stairs by now. It’s not corporate, just a spot where we do our work without any pretense.
