Apang Sanjivani Social Welfarefoundation

We are based at C-101 in Baburao Residency, which is on Station Road near the Hanuman Mandir in Diva West. It is a busy part of Thane. You can usually hear the trains or the bells from the temple while we are working. Apang Sanjivani Social Welfarefoundation is run by a small group of us who live right here in the area. We did not want to set up in a big office park. We wanted to be where people actually are. Our space is just a regular ground-floor unit. It gets a bit dusty with the road right there, but it works for us. We do not have a big mission statement or a team of experts. We are just local residents who saw some things that could be better and decided to try and help. We spend a lot of our time just meeting with people from the neighborhood. Sometimes we have to deal with water leaks or the internet going out, just like everyone else. It is not a fancy life. We do not have a lot of money to spend on advertisements, so we just rely on people knowing who we are. If you are walking toward the station, you will probably pass us. We try to keep things honest and simple. There is always a lot to do, and we just take it one day at a time. It is a humble setup, but it is ours.
