Anukriya Foundation

Our office is tucked away in the Mount Pleasant building over on Khushaldas Parekh Marg. We are located on the first floor, in room 101, which is right near the Kopole Boarding area in Matunga. The Five Garden area is actually quite a nice place to be, and we’ve been operating here for a bit now. Anukriya Foundation is just a small group of us trying to be useful to the people around us. We don't have fancy brochures, expensive marketing, or a professional PR team. Most of our days are spent sitting at our desks, answering phone calls, and trying to organize whatever the next project happens to be. It can get a bit cluttered in the office with all the files and supplies piled up in the corners, but we usually know where everything is. Matunga is a great spot, and being in Mumbai City means there’s never really a dull moment. We started this because we saw things that could be better and figured we’d give it a real shot. It’s not always smooth sailing; sometimes we run out of tea or the printer stops working right when we need it most. But that’s just how life goes, isn't it? We just take things one day at a time without much fuss. People stop by sometimes just to chat or ask for a bit of advice, and we do what we can. We’re just regular people working out of a regular office in a very busy city. It is hard work, but we are used to it by now and just keep going.
