Anu Craft Classes

Started the classes up here in B-Wing on the fifth floor. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, but we’re right across from Chandivali Studio in Powai. Most days it’s just us sitting around the tables with a lot of glue, paper, and different materials scattered everywhere. You can see the studio gates from some of the windows. People come in to learn how to make things with their hands. It gets a bit messy during the afternoon sessions when the kids are here, but that’s just how craft work goes. We’ve been at Flat 506 for a while now. The light is pretty good in the mornings for seeing small details. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to see what we’re making today. It’s not a fancy studio or anything, just a regular flat turned into a workspace. We keep the supplies stacked up in the corners. If you’re looking for the building, look for the B-wing entrance. Powai is always busy, but once you get up to the fifth floor, it’s a bit quieter. We spend a lot of time just figuring out new patterns or helping someone get their stitches right. There is always someone working on a project. It’s a simple setup. We just like making stuff and showing others how to do it without making it too complicated. It is just a local spot for people to get creative.
